Hand-burnished edges finished with edge slicker ensure durability at the rim. The smooth leather surface works with optical and laser mice, offering consistent glide that improves as the material ages.
Your vegetable-tanned leather will develop natural patina over time. This is not a defect, it's a sign of authentic, quality materials.
In order to make it last, use natural leather balm every year or when the leather seems a bit dry. Apply with a soft cloth and buff gently.
