Black Leather Keyboard Mat
Handmade in France
Cut from a single piece of full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, this keyboard mat is handmade in our Bordeaux workshop with no stitching or assembly. The leather protects the desktop from friction while providing a stable surface beneath the keyboard.
Its 40 × 20 cm format is designed for compact keyboards without a number pad, such as the Logitech MX Keys Mini or Apple Magic Keyboard. Its elongated shape with rounded ends creates a clean silhouette and pairs naturally with our 20 cm round leather mouse pad.
The edges are hand-burnished and finished with a heated edge iron for a clean, even result. Over time, the leather will evolve and develop a patina unique to the way you use it.
Your vegetable-tanned leather will develop natural patina over time. This is not a defect, it's a sign of authentic, quality materials.
In order to make it last, use natural leather balm every year or when the leather seems a bit dry. Apply with a soft cloth and buff gently.

Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned Leather
There are objects you never replace. Not out of attachment at first, simply because they do not give up. Then, with time, they become better.
Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather works that way. Selected from Chadefaux and slowly tanned with natural tannins, it keeps its grain, its nuances, and the variations unique to each hide.
Over the years, it darkens where it is touched, softens, and develops a patina. It takes on the character of the person who carries it.
