The Crossfold Card Holder is made from two pieces of full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, folded and layered to create three separate storage areas.
Its distinctive overlapping construction forms one central compartment and two quick-access exterior pockets. The two leather pieces are joined along one side using the traditional saddle stitch, keeping the design flexible, compact and immediately recognisable.
Made without lining or metal hardware, this card holder relies on a simple and durable construction. The edges are finished and polished by hand in our workshop. Over time, the leather softens and develops a natural patina shaped by everyday use.
Your vegetable-tanned leather will develop natural patina over time. This is not a defect, it's a sign of authentic, quality materials.
In order to make it last, use natural leather balm every year or when the leather seems a bit dry. Apply with a soft cloth and buff gently.

Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned Leather

Full-grain vegetable-tanned leather works that way. Selected from Chadefaux and slowly tanned with natural tannins, it keeps its grain, its nuances, and the variations unique to each hide.
Over the years, it darkens where it is touched, softens, and develops a patina. It takes on the character of the person who carries it.
