Full-Grain Vegetable-Tanned Leather
We use the finest leather available: full-grain leather, vegetable-tanned over several months. No chrome, no harsh chemicals. Only natural tannins extracted from tree bark, following traditional methods that have been used for centuries.
This leather retains its natural markings and original texture. It is neither sanded nor coated with plastic finishes. That is why it ages so beautifully. Over time, it develops a rich patina that tells your story.
Your wallet will gain character with use, developing a rich patina that makes each piece unique. This is what separates a disposable object from something designed to accompany you for decades.
Traditional Saddle Stitching
Every Darksails wallet is hand-stitched using the traditional saddle stitching technique.
Created with two needles and a single thread, this method provides greater strength than machine stitching and helps prevent seams from unraveling over time.
Used for generations in high-end leather workshops, saddle stitching is valued for its durability, repairability, and timeless appearance.
Entirely hand-stitched in our workshop in France.
