My career started in the car industry, where I worked as a concept car modeler for renowned studios like Pininfarina and General Motors. The thrill of bringing innovative designs to life was exhilarating, but I yearned for something more personal and hands-on.

This desire led me to the French Alps, where I co-founded a design studio with friends. We worked with top outdoor brands like Salomon and Quechua, creating everything from bags to footwear. It was an incredible learning experience, but my true calling came when I ventured into the world of luxury footwear design. Working closely with craftsmen in workshops reminded me of my early days in car modeling—there's nothing quite like seeing your ideas take shape in the real world.

In a pivotal moment of my career, I was selected for the prestigious onboarding program at Hermès. It was an honor to be recognized by such an iconic brand, but I realized that my true passion lay in creating something of my own. Driven by a passion for quality and sustainability, I decided to set sail and create Darksails. Here, I could be the master of my craft, focusing on values that matter to me: staying small, building well, and contributing to a more sustainable future. Each piece I create is a testament to these principles, crafted with meticulous attention to detail and a deep respect for the materials.
